Added Patterns & abstractions photo page. Got an extension tube shot to come out, was only the third or fourth try, but previous attempts were just black frames. Found a used Nikon K extension tube set at B&H for $49, mine is like new in original box and was 25 cents at a yard sale last fall. Good deal! But why is an aluminum tube so expensive?
Had to drive to Moab Mon & Tues this week! Between that and CC skiing at Mesa Verde last Sunday shot a roll and a half. Was impatient and did the hour thing. Looks like a few are worthy.

We went to Canyonlands this weekend. Stupid me forgot film and didn't notice till the trailhead and having only a few shots left on the roll didn't bother to bring the camera along at all, missed many nice shots, reason to go back. Met a pro photographer in Chesler Park and went over and watched her set up a shot while asking a few bumbling questions. Of course thought of intelligent questions 10 minutes later. Drove up Junction Creek road almost to turnoff to Kennebec pass. There was already several inches of snow on the road above 10,000 feet or so, but then it started to snow pretty good. It got a little spooky, but I stopped and threw a bunch of big rocks in the back of my two-wheel-drive-truck-that-needs-new-tires and made it out alive. Shot a roll of Kodak film, we'll see. Have decided to try Kodak for awhile after becoming unsure of the sometimes over the top look of what I've been sticking with - Fuji 100.
